Orange You Glad To See Me?
Just messing with color as a warm-up. Working on some big ink/watercolor pieces. One's going to be a collaborative piece with my totally awesome little brother! You should see his site here At this snazzy link.

Color Study and some other things
This is me figuring out values and colors for the Jack and the Beanstalk painting. It's still not right... I might make Jacke/the rat yellow instead of red, and the stalk a little less saturated.
And here is Poison Ivy painted in green because I was trying to figure out the green I wanted to use and she was a good test subject.
And finally, some doodles. Hooray doodles! Some of these are going to be bigger projects, I'm just scoping out the feel for them.
LOOOVE IS IN THE AIIIIIIRR. Also, I made friends with a bee.

Late Posts: Hopefully Not a New Trend
I have been wrestling with my muse all day and everything I churn out is crap. So I've thrown it all aside and am making the silliest thing I can think of. It would be funny if it worked out. Anyways, yestrday was another crap day where nothing I did worked out.
Here is the watercolor color study for the girl and her bot picture:
I am not handling the watercolor properly. I am annoyed with myself. Anyways, this got muddy until I stopped trying to add tone, then it began to look better. I need to simplify the color scheme even more, and I don't know if the background helps it or hurts it. Thoughts?
Doodles:
That's it for now. Back to my silly silly project.
