 Mouths for dialogue animation research.

At the bottom of my notes pages I like to have a doodle portion. This time I doodled my friend Neisje, who is so cute and fun to draw!!

 And this time it was dragon-creatures!

I tutor in-class for a class at school that's called "Quicksketch", which is about churning out a lot of usable concepts and then bringing them to a quality finish. While the teacher gave a lecture on vehicle design, I made some space-ships. Thumbnailing is my favorite thing!!

OBAMA MAN

The rough sketch of a painting I am working on for my mom. it's mostly tongue-in-cheek, though she does have the biggest political boner crush on our president. Recently, I've been more approving of him. I think he's getting braver and more outspoken as his term winds down, and I approve of the things he's been saying. High-five, President Man! Continue being awesome!

I'll post the final whenever I finish it.

Rice Chex Storyboards

Some storyboards for my storyboarding class. We were given a script to use and a basic character design. This is for a 30-second commercial.

The feedback I received was that they are too rendered/finished.

Betty Boop Character Expressions Page

Our first assignment for my advanced storyboard class. We had to choose one of the characters on a list and draw them with 6 expressions- also given to us- while staying on model. I chose Betty Boop. Can you figure out which ones are which?

 

The expressions are:

~sharing a joke with friends

~hiding anxiously

~Loss at the death of a friend

~Smacked in the head with a frying pan

~Terrified by  ghost or monster

~Turned into a zombie
